Here’s the latest update from Lily Camera.I’m getting excited to receive this unit that I ordered and paid for over a year ago. They’ve really made some cool features on this including being able to be submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
This Laura Renz’s farm in the foothills of Mt. Spokane. The video has stills and aerial footage. This is a beautiful piece of Spokane’s rural area north of the valley.

Here are a few projects I’ll be doing over the next couple months. I’ve been recruited by a company out of California to do some property inspections for Insurance companies. I’ll be doing some private work for some events coming up too.
April 20th- Home inspection for Better View in Pullman, WA
April 23rd- Aerial Video for a Super Cross Motorcycle event in Lesiton, Idaho
May 7th- Demolition Derby in Lewiston, Idaho
June 18 & 19th- Aerial Video for a Super Cross Motorcycle event on Silver Mountain in Kellogg Idaho
Looking forward to flying and filming these fun events. It’s been quite a learning curve this past year and my vision of flying for fun and profit is shaping up nicely so far. Please feel free to leave a comment or like my facebook page !
This is a short clip of the Spokane River near State Line Idaho. Taken with the phantom 3 by DJI.
I just received the FAA 333 Exemption for my phantom 3. I applied for this last summer and am now under the exemption. You can find all the requirements and processes to acquire the exemption here.
There is a significant amount of interest and volume in requests for the exemption. If you plan to apply, turn around could be a bit of a wait. Mine took approximately 9 months.
Here is the latest test video for the Lily Camera. It’s been a year since I ordered mine and I am hopeful the first round will ship in the near future. I am anxious to get mine in the air ! Last report was that shipping of the first units will begin this summer- as late as August but hopefully sooner. This drone has a small transmitter / RC that is water proof and easily fits in a small pocket. The flying camera should be easy to operate and very compact. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to fly the Phantom 3 and share my aerial video with the awesome technology.
